PA won't let me file as a non-resident?

In 2020 I worked in PA but lived in NY (so I was a partial resident of NY, NOT PA). However, the PA state tax portion says that I cannot file as a non-resident? I don't understand? I did not live in PA AT ALL in 2020??

You should also be able to file a Non-Resident return to Pennsylvania.

Nonresidents use the same PA-40 that residents and part-year residents use. Make sure when you complete your return that you indicate that you are a nonresident by filling in the oval for "nonresident."

I have this same issue with file 2021 PA taxes.  I am a non-resident, but when I go to e-file it states "cannot have non-resident box checked on form".  I don't understand why this is the case?  I'm a non-resident of PA but filing in PA.  How do I fix this error?

Unfortunately, not all of the forms for the Pennsylvania return are available for TurboTax at this time.

Here is a link to the list of Pennsylvania forms and the dates when available. Form NRH having to do with non-resident compensation isn't available yet.

Thank you for the quick response.  PA schedule NRH shows as available both online as well as e-file and I had no issues with that form.  The issue seems to be with the file called "Information Worksheet" - this shows as "unsupported" for e-file yet the program requires this worksheet prior to e-filing?  It won't allow me to e-file as a non-resident, however, I can file if I check off part year resident.  Does this worksheet actually get filed with the tax form or can I just click a box to bypass this in order to submit the tax return.  I printed a physical copy to file by mail and this form is not included.    Thanks in advance

The worksheet is not filed with the tax return.

Here is a link with instructions to delete a form or worksheet. This may help you to e-file the NR state return if you delete the worksheet.
