NR GA state return related question

I have a client who lives and works in NJ. He has a rental property in GA. Am I required to file GA state return for him, if his rental income was less than 5K in 2019 and he had a loss in 2020? It seems there is no tax liability for either years. Or do I still have to file GA return, because he is filing a federal return? None of his other income is from GA (I did not file a GA return in 2019).

Please advise.

Thank you

Client?  TT is not licensed for use by paid tax preparers.  If you are using one of Intuit's professional programs, please post your question on that Board.
