NJ Tax Box1 and Box 16 is diffrent. How to take deduction?
My wife W2 for NJ has different wages on Box 1 98K and Box 16 110k.
Question is how to take deduction or get higher refund? Also when I enter both figures as is I get error upon smart check at the end. I like to know is there any deduction I need to file. Don't want to pay higher taxes to NJ or Federal. Do I enter same amount in both boxes or any one has better answer?

Do not try to correct your W-2 with amounts that "look better".
Your W-2 is typical, not unusual.
You should not get flagged for Box 16 greater or lesser than Box 1.
