My husband and I have separate 1099c's but I am the insolvent one. Can only one of us be insolvent? We have the deluxe cd\download version and are married filing jointly. We have all info for insolvency and need to enter but can't find answers antwhere.

You can only use the insolvency if you file separate returns.  If you file a joint return, they will look at your joint information.
