Moved to SC from NJ - Why do I need to pay taxes on all my income?

I moved to SC in Oct 2018 from NJ however the program for SC state tax calculates taxes owed on my yearly income and not just for the 2.5 months I have been living and working in SC. How can I change this?

When filing a part-year resident return you must allocate the income to the state where you were living when you earned it. Follow the directions in the TurboTax FAQ below to properly allocate the income to each perspective state.

This has been performed but does not allow for the SC1040 nor the SC1040TC and the use of the Schedule NR. This is sorely lacking in the purchased State add on for the downloadable version....is this the same for the online version?
