Moved from GA to KY

W-2 for GA and KY. Taxes withheld correctly and is so reflected on physical W-2s. Downloaded from ADP website. Correct withholding for GA, but electronic version of KY W2 is listed as having no withholding. I copy the correct withholding and type it into line 31a of the Kentucky Tax form 740-NP in the TurboTax version of the Kentucky State Income tax form manually...however, while I see it there, it does not change the amount of tax I have due. When I save it, exit, and reload the number simply disappears.

Any ideas? Thanks for your time!

TurboTax pulls withholding from the Federal section, so it will override a direct entry on line 31a unless you override. An override makes you ineligible for e-filing and voids the TurboTax 100% Accurate Calculation Guarantee.

If your paper W-2 shows Kentucky withholding, add the KY income and withholding (and local tax, if applicable) as a new line on your W-2 in Boxes 15-20. This will transfer over.

Since the paper and electronic copies differ, double-check with your employer first to confirm that your KY withholding is correct.
