MN CRP Form

I received two good CRPs from my landlord and have entered the information into TurboTax. My question is whether this information will be electronically filed with my MN tax return. When reviewing the return, it is not clear that the CRPs I entered were included as evidence for the credit. MN requires this information.

Yes, the M1RENT schedule is electronically filed with your MN state return.  Starting with your 2024 taxes, if you are a renter, you can claim the Renter's Credit as part of your Minnesota Individual Income Tax return (Form M1).   You will no longer file a Renter's Property Tax Refund return (Form M1PR).   This means renters who previously filed both returns won't receive a separate refund later in the year.
