LLC registered in another state. Do you have to file 3522 and pay $800. to CA?

Backstory: Form 3522 - If the LLC is registered in another state, less than $250. income and you live in CA. Do you still have to pay annual fee of $800. and submit Form 3522?

Are you doing business under this LLC in California? Then you have to file the 3522.

 

Every LLC that is doing business or organized in California must pay an annual tax of $800.

This yearly tax will be due, even if you are not conducting business, until you cancel your LLC.

No. This is only for an LLC that is registered and does business in California.
