Keep circling to Form 3514 and can't complete the e filing.

I am US citizen and single.  It keep circling back to Form 3514 and ask me to fill the day I lived in California and the days for spouse when I try to finish e filing.

Form 3514 is for the Earned Income Credit.

Can you comment with the error message you are receiving?

If you enter in the number of days, are you still getting an error message?

I'm having a similar issue with 3514.  TurboTax has filled in a radio button and won't remove it.  This is keeping me from filing too.

I should add, this is at question 9A in the second column which is otherwise void.  It will check Yes or No but will not permit No Entry.

Try this:  Please delete the zero in box 11, and then it should pass the diagnostic.

Was your answer for me or for the original poster?  I deleted the form and left the Box 11 question blank but it autopopulated with the value 366, so again same error.

It would be helpful to have a TurboTax ".tax2020" file that is experiencing this issue.

You can send us a “diagnostic” file that has your “numbers” but not your personal information.  If you would like to do this, here are the instructions:

Go to the black panel on the left side of your program and select Tax Tools.

  1. Then select Tools below Tax Tools.
  2. A window will pop up which says Tools Center.
  3. On this screen, select Share my file with Agent.
  4. You will see a message explaining what the diagnostic copy is.  Click okay through this screen and then you will get a Token number.
  5. Reply to this thread with your Token number. This will allow us to open a copy of your return without seeing any personal information.

We will then be able to see exactly what you are seeing and we can determine what exactly is going on in your return and provide you with a resolution.

Thanks--Madison contacted me last Monday and TurboTax fixed the problem by Friday so I'm good to go.

Turbotax started to really address my issue once I created a new thread.  You might try that for starters.
