Interview wants me to buy TN state as non-resident, TN site says no filing needed

The interview says i need to file non-resident TN possibly since we sold our old home there in 2021. as far as I can research, TN DOR site says no need to file.

you would hope Turbotax would fix its apps so taxpayers are no longer asked to buy returns for states that don't have a personal income tax.

No, there is no need to file a Tennessee state tax return since Tennessee does not have a personal income tax.

No..no TN tax return is needed.

The only thing TN used to have is the so-called "Hall Tax", on interest and dividends, but that was repealed for all of 2021 and succeeding years.

So, do NOT attempt to prepare a TN tax return, there is nothing to prepare.

That was my point in raising the question.  The app shouldn't try to sell me a product i do  not need
