[IN State] What should I put as my county of residence if I was a full time in-state student however my permanent address is in another county?

I was a full time student Jan 1st to early June (Tippecanoe County, on campus housing so no utilities/bills apart from tuition) however my permanent address is in Marion County and that's where I moved back to in June. Which county should I file under?

According to the Indiana tax instruction booklet, if you have more than one home in Indiana, then determine your county of residence by:

  • where you are registered to vote

  • or, if not registered to vote, where your personal vehicle is registered

  • or, if you do not have a vehicle registered, where you spent the majority of your time
