In my summary of the federal refund, it says that I had $xx withheld and does all the other math around that.

The issue is, I am not sure where they are getting that number. I had a certain amount withheld that is not that number from my math. Should I just trust that if I entered all my forms correctly, that Turbotax did the math right? How can I double check? I already looked at the 1099s entered.

You should identify the taxes withheld because if you made an entry in error, you will underpay your taxes which results in penalties.   The amount withheld includes estimates, refunds applied from prior years etc.  There is a Tax Payments Worksheet you can review.
