If box 15 is filled in on the W2, but the state is not listed in turbo tax. How do you fix this to move forward?

If box 16 is filled in, and box 15 has the state filled in, but the state is not on the list in turbo tax. How dl you resolve this?

Nine states — Alaska, Florida, Nevada, New Hampshire, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming — have no state income taxes.

 

If your state has no state income tax, it is not in the drop down menu of Box 15 of form W-2. Just leave boxes 15 and 16 blank even if they are listed on your form W-2. Your box 17 of form W-2 should not have any amount.
