I want to e-file my federal, skip my state for now. The instructions said when you see the Here are your filing options screen to change state but i dont see the screen?

When i continue on to file it just has me sign the docs and confirm the payment. Then gets to transmitting my return. Theres no option to skip state

In the File section of the program on Step 3 you can change how you want to file the state tax return.

Thank you so much for the detailed instructions! I didn't know you had to go into file by mail, it should be better explained within the program. Thank you again!

Thank you for this! This is exactly what I needed. I agree that the instructions are confusing.

Thank you. I had the exact same need and same problem.
The Intuit instructions to skip state filing were useless, let alone the Turbotax screens are not well designed as they do not expose that option.
Your instructions worked and were easy to follow. Theyshould pay you and replace their useless instructions with yours.

I am never paying Turbotax again for support that is useless; when the Turbotax community is where the real support happens.
