I’m going to be working in DC and live in MD. I am filling out the MW 507 form and need some help. I am filing single but don’t know what to put for exemptions

I am not sure if I have to claim exemptions? I really don’t know. And I can’t find any helpful instructions

If you are single & have no dependents to claim you can enter 1 exemption on line 1  or if you want to force a refund enter a zero.
