I lived in florida for first 6months of 2018 and then i permanently moved to NY so what form do i file for residency?

i have a W2 FROM FLORIDA AND NY...I LIVED IN FLORIDA FOR FIRST 6 MO OF 2018 AND THEN PERMANENTLY MOVED TO NY....WHAT FORM FOR RESIDENCY DO I FOLLOW?

You need to file New York Part Year resident tax return. You will need to go through the "Personal Info" section and update it (if you rolled over the prior year's return).  When you are going through the New York return, be sure to indicate that the income you earned is NOT New York income.  That would also apply to any interest, dividends, etc. you may have received while living in Florida.
