I lived and worked in Australia for all of 2024 and but am a US citizen. What do I put as my state of residence for tax purposes? I still live out of country.

As a U.S. citizen living and working abroad, you generally need to maintain a state of residence for tax purposes. If you lived in a specific state before moving to Australia, you would use that state as your state of residence on your tax return.
