I live in Florida but will be working remotely for an office in Colorado...

I am in the process of considering a position in Colorado that I would work remotely from my home in Florida. I have searched high and low to get a definitive answer, but have had no such luck as of yet.

Will I be required to file state income taxes with Colorado? The company itself is not BASED in Colorado, but rather the office I would be working for is.

If you do not work or live in Colorado during the tax year and do not have Colorado state income taxes withheld from your wages there is no need to file a Colorado state income tax return.
