I live in FL.and FL has no State taxes for income. Why is Turbo Tax asking me to complete the State Tax forms

I do not have any tangible or rental property to claim.

You are correct; there is no income tax for state of Florida, so there is no return to be filed. The software may generate one even if you don't need to file it. Please see below for how to remove or bypass that state return; depending on which version of software you are using.

If you are using the TurboTax CD/Download software, you can go to File tab and on the Select the Returns You're Ready to E-file screen, choose Do not e-file my state return now and then proceed to e-file your federal. 

If you are using TurboTax Online version, go here How do I delete my state return in TurboTax Online? for steps to delete the state return; if you haven't paid or registered it yet. Otherwise, select Skip State to skip preparing a Florida return when it brings you to the state section.

This doesn't answer the question!  it just describes several ways around file a state return.  Answer the question!

The program asks about filing taxes in every state where there is some sort of filing requirement. It is better to ask you than let you miss it if you did need to file. Since you don't need to file Fl, you can just skip it.
