I live in a foreign country but work for a university in California. I visited California for 38 days in 2024. It is not clearing in TurboT Help!

I changed the state forms to reflect that I am receiving wages from California company thus part-time. I am resident in foreign country. Thanks!

Before you go further----if you are a non-resident alien, you cannot use TurboTax.

 

 

If you are a non-resident alien, your return must be filed on Form 1040NR, which cannot be prepared using TurboTax.  You can use TT’s partner, sprintax:
