Did you have any Delaware income? TurboTax may be adding DE for a few reasons:
- You lived in Delaware for any part of 2020
- You told TurboTax you made money in a state other than Maryland and added Delaware
- You had Delaware tax withheld on a W-2
- You had a rental property or did business in Delaware
You can delete Delaware if you did not do not need to file there.
- Click State on TurboTax Online in the left column
- Click Your State Returns at the top
- Click Delete next to Delaware
