I cant find the NYC volunteer ambulance credit for state taxes on the self-employed turbotax

Full-year New York State residents may claim a credit if they provided volunteer services as a firefighter or ambulance worker for the entire year of 2016 and did not receive a real property tax exemption that relates to your volunteer service.

In TurboTax, please do the following:

  • States Taxes
  • You will follow a couple of prompts until you see "Take a look at New York credits and taxes" page
  • Active Volunteer Firefighter or Ambulance Worker, please click Start
