I am not a US citizen, had no income in 2019 and moved back to Europe in June 2019. Do I have to file a tax return for 2019?

If you had no income of any kind in 2019 then there is no reason or need to file a 2019 tax return.

Thanks, Don! So this applies even if I am a shareholder and CEO of a now dormant entity (Delaware registered Inc.) ?   Don't want trouble at an US airport/immigration someday! 🙂

Actually, I now know (from a Tax Accountant) that I do have to file...IF... I have lived in the USA for more than 182 days  within the past 3 years - and earned more than $12,000 in 2019, regardless of whether I am resident in the US officially or not.
