I am living in IL full time (for all of 2021) but my drivers license/state of residence is still IN (parents address that I haven't moved back to). File only IL or IL IN?

If you lived and worked in IL all year then you need to file an IL tax return, regardless of the fact that you have not complied with IL laws and obtained an IL license by now.    Since you do not have an IL license you will not be able to e-file your IL tax return.   It will have to be filed by mail.  Your IN drivers license does not compel you to file an IN return if you have not lived or worked in IN during 2021.

@albitner

....yeah...but...answer might change if you are a College student in IL, and still under age 24 at the end of 2021.

The Details of your situation are critical..
