See this TurboTax support FAQ for a Minnesota Form M1PR - https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/filing-and-paying-taxes/help/can-i-file-my-m1pr-minnesota-property-tax-refund-through-turbotax/01/25798
Please clarify, what state are you asking about and what problem are you encountering?
The MN Renter's Property Tax Refund is often referred to as the Renter's Rebate. Please see this TurboTax Help article for instructions on filing for this refund: Can I file my M1PR (Minnesota Property Tax Refund) through TurboTax?
@cvievering
My turbotax final page indicated I will receive $0 refund on my MN filing but a previous page indicated what I thought was a refund amount of $345. What gives?
Of course, we in the Community cannot see your private tax data. I could do 20 questions asking you a variety of things, like what is your AGI (too high an AGI and you are not eligible), but perhaps you could simplify this by taking screen shots of these two references (yes refund and no refund) and posting them here. Please redact any personally identifiable information.
Thanks. I'm doing this for my son, who hasn't had to file in a while. He qualifies for MN renter's rebate (probably $200-400), because his income was under $18K. An agent at MN Revenue informed me that he needs to file form M1PR to get the rebate. TurboTax completely missed this. Had I pressed COMPLETE/FILE my son would have been out of the rebate. Not only is TurboTax not free, they're incompetent. My first time trying TT and I will forever disparage them. Thanks again for trying.
