How is the checkbox on Schedule CA where TurbTax seeks a confirmation about the paid family leave calculated? Is this just gross wage or how was the figure determined?

For my CA taxes, Schedule CA (Wage, IRA and Pension Adjustments) line 8 has my entire W2 amount listed in it. Would this be accurate if I took a Paid Family Leave? (intuit.com)
