How do you notify TurboTax of software errors? The WI Non-resident return shows all interest income as taxable. Per state instructions, it is not.

Only WI sourced income is taxable to a non-resident. Can't complete SC return until WI return is correct. Don't want to do 2 state returns that I already paid for manually.

The 1099-INT is entered in the federal review under income and expenses.

If you have two state returns, that means you either have one resident and one non-resident or two part-year returns.

Depending on which type of returns you file, TurboTax will determine which state return the 1099-INT would be reportable.

You would not pay tax on your 1099-INT to both states.

Normally, it would be the state of your primary residence.

You are correct. However, TurboTax is not currently handling this correctly on the WI non resident tax return. It shows all interest income as taxable in WI and it is not taxable for a non resident. The software needs to be fixed in order for me to correctly file a WI non resident return and a correct SC resident return.

Many things have been corrected in the latest updates to TurboTax. Are you still experiencing this problem?

Make sure you have ran all updates.
