How do I get around the 1099G form needing state info, when my state isn't available as an option?

I can't file until I select the state I got unemployment from, but my state isn't an option.

sammiisynthetic,

There are two different 1099-G forms.  One is the one you have, an unemployment compensation form.  The other is a state tax refund form.  Take another look at your screens to make sure you are in the unemployment compensation area.  If you accidentally tried to enter it as a state tax refund, then any state that doesn't have an income tax would not show as an option.

Hmm I selected this from the regular list of w2, self employment etc section. 3rd one down, government benefits on form 1099-G
I just put in what I got from unemployment, and they're simply asking what state I received it from but it's somehow not an option.

The only other 1099G form I see asks if the payments I received were
"taxable grant, agricultural program payment, market gain on CCC loans, RTAA payments, or business on farm tax refund"

So none of those make sense
