How do I fill out the Wisconsin homestead credit part of the return if I do not have a rent certificate and do I need my landlord to sign this part of my return?

Either the landlord completes the rent certificate. or you can complete the form and ask the landlord to sign it.

To file:

• If you mail your Wisconsin tax return, you will attach your rent certificate to your return. 
• If you are e-filing, you will mail your rent certificate with Form W-RA to the Wisconsin Department of Revenue.
