How do I file if I lived in Virginia from Jan through May of 2024 and then Alabama the remainder o the year? My income has been from the same source all year

You will file a Part Year return for both Virginia and Alabama.  You will have to allocate how much income was made in each state.  TurboTax will walk you through the questions to get your returns filed correctly.
