How do I file a D-40B nonresident request for refund form in Turbotax?

I lived in DC for the first 6 months of the year and then moved to Virginia for the second half of the year. 2 months of my income was taxed in DC while I was living in VA. I went through the nonresident state tax section of My VA refund in Turbotax and received the following message: "Sch OSC (1): State Code is not valid state for this credit. You must claim a refund by filing a DC nonresident request for refund return (D-40B)." However, there does not seem to be a way to do that in turbo tax. The only button option is "Continue" and that just takes me to a page to review the return and then I get the error message again. How do I access and submit the D-40B form through TT?

The D-40B is not a tax return- it is a request for refund for taxes improperly withheld.  You can complete and mail to DC DOR. 2024 D-40B - DC Office of Tax and Revenue.
