How do I change my status and income to reflect my move from California to Nevada residency? Do I have to pay California state taxes on my Nevada income?

I moved from CA to NV in Dec 2016. My 2017 w-2 from a Nevada company to me at my Nevada address shows no state income but somehow Turbo tax is picking it up as California State income.  Should I just ignore and not file a California return.

If you did not live in or work in California in 2017, in the Personal Info section of TurboTax, enter NV as your State of Residence, and indicate that you did not earn money in any other state.

If you weren't in CA at all 2017, you wouldn't file a CA return for 2017.
