How do I apply for the multi-generational home renovation credit in the U.S.?

I believe this is a tax credit for renovation on a primary home for living space for family members or relatives in need.

That is a Canadian Tax Credit; this forum is US based.   You can use the link below if you are in Canada.

TurboTax Community Canada   I added below what I found from there..

The multigenerational home renovation tax credit (MHRTC) helps pay for changes made to a home so that an older or disabled person can live near a family member.

The maximum allowable credit is 15% of qualifying renovation costs, up to $50,000. Meaning, if you qualified for the full credit, you’d receive $7,500.
