How do I adjust state wage in form 540 for California as my Box 16 is different than Box 1 in my W2 due to paid family leave in CA?

It seems like without adjustment TurboTax is using my federal wage (box1@W2) to calculate my state tax. I see "Income and adjustments" in my State Returns. I also see "Other Adjustments to Income" and "Other Adjustments to Wages". But I am not sure what to write in description. Please help if anyone knows the answer.

As you have noted, the CA state return doesn't actually use box 16 n the state return; it starts with the federal numbers.

Please see these other post in the Community; I think they will answer your questions on how to enter your paid family leave so that it is not taxable in CA.
