How do I add Pennsylvania Schedule J to my Pennsylvania return?

This form is used to report income from an estate to a beneficiary.

Did you receive a Form 1041 Schedule K-1 or a PA Schedule RK-1/NRK-1? Numbers entered in the K-1 section for estates and trusts in federal will carry over to the Pennsylvania section.

You can edit the amount in the Estates and Trusts Summary. Click Edit next to your Estate.

I received a PA RK-1.  I have an amount on line 6 only.  The K-1 doesn’t line-up exactly with the RK-1.  The descriptions for line 6 are different.

PA requires Schedule J for reporting RK-1 amounts.  Hopefully, TurboTax will add the PA Schedule J and make it part of the interview and one of the income headings.  It would make life easier!

Thanks for your reply.  I received a federal K-1 and a PA RK-1.  I entered the federal K-1 with amounts on lines 11a and 11c.  However, my RK-1 is different.  It has no amounts anywhere but line 6.

I don’t see a way to enter my RK-1 in the federal return.  If I add another “K-1” to federal for my RK-1, that will change my federal return, and line 6 represents something different between these forms.

I’m still at a loss for this situation.  A question in the interview or a dedicated section about state taxable estate income would be great.
