How come I had to pay for federal, MO, and KS. Nothing was free. I live in MO, but work in KS.

It did the same to me. I think once you change your options to see which benefits more it doesn't give you the option to change back to the free to file option. I also was stuck with the deluxe option. I won't be using them anymore after 3 yrs.
