For the Volunteer Fireman deduction in MD, I see that you should come to a screen that says Any State Adjustments to Federal Income, where is that screen?

UPDATED FOR TAX YEAR 2019

To enter the Volunteer Fireman deduction in your MD return, please follow these steps:

  1. In your MD return go to the screen, Here's the income that Maryland handles differently.
  2. In the Public Service section click on the Start/Revisit box next to Fire, Rescue or Emergency Medical Services Volunteer Work or Length of Service Awards.
  3. On the screen, Certified Active Volunteer, click the Yes button and click Continue
