For North Carolina I keep choose N.C. Standard Deduction but it saves reverts back to N.C. Itemized Deductions. Is there a workaround?

Married filing separately

According to the State of North Carolina, since you are Married Filing Separately, if your spouse claims itemized deductions, you do not get a standard deduction for the state.

It’s not a tax issue, it’s a system issue.  My wife is taking the NC standard deduction but turbo tax is making me file NC itemized.
