For a Partial Year Resident of Oregon which form and line number is used to enter and calculate the percentage of income taxable to the State of Oregon. 4-months in OR.

You will use Form OR-40-P.

Part-year residents. Oregon taxes your income from all sources earned or received while you were an Oregon resident. Oregon also taxes your income from Oregon sources while you were a nonresident. 

Line 35: Oregon percentage. Line 34S ÷ line 34F (not more than 100.0%)

Line 34: Income after subtractions. Line 31 minus lines 32 and 33........................ 34F(federal)   34S(Oregon) See Screenshots.

Line 45: Oregon income tax. Line 44 multiplied by the Oregon percentage from line 35 (see instructions).
