Filed 1/30 and my ddd is 2/22 today I notice that my account number was wrong. What to do I live in California so is there a timeframe of when to expect a check in mail

If i cant change when do I get check by mail

If you have already filed your tax return, then you may be able to stop the direct deposit by contacting the IRS if the return has not yet been processed by the IRS system. To request this change and see if a check can be mailed to you, you may contact the IRS directly at 1-800-829-1040. Their hours of operation are Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.

Thanks so much. I've call irs today and their closed today due to holiday my ddd is 2/22 so I will email if I can or contact them first thing in the morning on there time not mines,

This happened to me two years ago. I called the IRS and they told me they can't change it, but what will happen is the bank will reject the DD. Once they do the IRS will then send out a paper check.
It took a little longer than I wanted but I did eventually get my check in the mail.

Yes I realized that I've paid 186 for turbo tax to stress for me. I call sbtpg yesterday and also emailed them,today they got my check and they will send it to me instead of sending it to irs. They could not change the information due to scams but they did update the computer to say my information was wrong. They've been very helpful and I will get a email when my check is mailed out but I did check the tpg web and my money is there so I have to wait til my check come from San Diego,Ca and I live in Marin county,Ca so it usually take mail about 2 days to get from their to here,I will keep u posted
