Error on Declaration page for New York State. Check mark does not register for Taxpayer, only Spouse and unable to continue filing.

Error on "Declaration to File Your State" page for New York State. Check mark does not register for Taxpayer, only Spouse and unable to continue filing. It erases itself when CONTINUE is clicked. This problem happened after a recent Turbo Tax update.

After the update on April 1, this seems to be fixed.  I was able to get past this page and e-file.

Same problem here.  Is there a way to flag this as a bug to Intuit?

Turbo Tax tech support is working on a software patch to (hopefully!) resolve this issue. Expected by April 2nd?

Will post their reply when received.

Same issue

Same issue!  Wasted a minimum of two hours with two different techs from Turbo Tax, but the sad thing is that they were not aware of the issue. We went through all kinds of troubleshooting steps, removing state tax, reinstalling the software with a new New York state software license, etc. Nothing worked!

The worse part is, New York State law requires income tax returns prepared using software to be e-filed, no mailing! So the fix for this issue is very crucial.

We can't past this check mark question. We had to file all the Federal and other states and will wait for the patch to be issued.

Unbelievable, what poor quality control.  Letting an obvious software bug like this be distributed to paying customers is unacceptable.  Shame on you Intuit.

Same issue for me. Spent 2 hours trying things, opening tickets, submitting error reports, and on two phone calls with two support people. Let’s hope it gets fixed soon.

Same issue, spent 2 hours trying to resolve, was told to wait till April 2nd for a fix. Very frustrating, will be submitting (dis) "Satisfaction Guarantee" to get refund for the software. New York only accepts efiles, short of buying another software to re-do the taxes, there isn't a way to get them in earlier. Very Frustrating.
