Employer Withheld Most (but not all) Tax From VA but I live in CT

My Federal Employer withheld Most (but not all) Tax From VA but I live in CT, how do I reconcile this using Turbo Tax Deluxe + State so that I pay only CT state tax?

Please clarify.  Do you live in CT but work in VA.  Do you work remotely in VA?  Did you move from VA? Did your employer withhold CT taxes?

My domicile is in CT, and I live there.  My employer made a mistake and withheld VA taxes initially, and switched it to CT withholding when I told them.  Trying to find out if I can fix this with turbotax I just purchased at Costco or if I need to do something else.

It is a one year position that offers telework, I travel from CT sometimes to go to the office in Virginia and have a temporary apartment there for these purposes but do not primarily reside there.

Just to clarify: VA can tax you as a non-resident on any income you earn from work physically performed within the State of Virginia.

If you have such income, you must file a non-resident VA tax return in addition to your home state CT tax return.  In this situation CT will allow a credit for the taxes paid to VA on the dollars taxed by both, so in effect you won't be double-taxed.
