E-Filed FED and did state later, now TurboTax won't let me e-file my state without the FED, why?

I e-filed my federal return without doing the state (Arkansas). Now that I have the state done, I am trying to e-file it.

When I try to file, I get the message "E-file requires federal return. To e-file, you must also select the federal return. Click "Back" to select federal and any other returns you'd like to file."

There's no federal return to select BECAUSE I ALREADY DID IT! Please HELP! Anyone? I'm currently using Turbo Tax Home & Business Desktop Windows 11.

Apparently, this is the same software issue as in 2021 that required an update!

Has the federal tax return been accepted by the IRS?

Click on the File menu at the top left of the desktop program screen.  Click on Electronic Filing>Check Electronic Filing Status

If the Federal tax return has been accepted then you should be able to e-file the state tax return.

Back in the File section of the program, Select E-file and on the following screen for the Federal tax return select Do not e-file my federal return now

Yes its been accepted, so there is no option to select "do not electronically file federal".

Since the state return was never e-filed that option should be available but apparently is not.
