e-file NYS Return claims a Solar and Wind Energy Credit carryover issue

I purchased a home in 2022, signed up for solar and got approved for 2022. Solar is now installed and running.

federal is all set with my 30% credit and NYS is showing my $5000 credit.

However, when I try to e-file it, it says NYS can't e-file because "Return claims a Solar and Wind Energy Credit carryover." I have left all the "Unused solar energy credit carryover from prior's years" section BLANK and it's still not letting me e-file NYS tax. 

Please let me know how and what I need to do, I do not wish to mail in the NYS tax return

Please try the steps below:

 

  1. Open TurboTax > " Pick up where I left off."
  2. On the left > Tax Tools > Tools > "Delete a form."
  3. Scroll down to the New York forms > Other Tax Credits and Taxes Worksheet.

       4.  Delete this form > Continue > Sign out of TurboTax .

       5.  Open TurboTax and try filing again.
