Don’t have partnership, but TurboTax keeps asking

I have S-corporate under my own name. I only have 1099-NEC, never get K-1 form since I don’t have partnership (and never had before). However, when I started to file NJ state tax, TurboTax keeps asking me to enter partnership info. I double-checked my federal tax forms and didn’t see K-1 related forms. Please advise! Many Thanks!

You can check to see if there is a partnership Schedule k-1 in your list of forms and if so you can delete it. Since you have an S Corporation, you will have a K-1 schedule for that too, so make sure you don't delete the wrong one.

Follow these instructions:

1. Choose the Tax Tools option on your left menu bar while working on your return

2. Choose Tools

3. Choose the Delete a form option under Other Helpful links

4. Find the errant K-1 schedule in the list of forms and delete it
