Don't e-file a state if you pay estimated taxes and use annualized installment

I am a Colorado resident and e-filed my state taxes.  I use the Annualized Installment method (Colorado Form 204) so I don't pay a penalty for underpayment.  TurboTax does not include this form, so I was hit with a penalty this year.  I note that another correspondent in Massachusetts had exactly the same problem with her/his state tax return.  So I'm done paying their $25 e-file fee for an erroneous filing.  Time to get this fixed, TurboTax!

Colorado Form DR 0204 is available in TurboTax, whether you choose to e-file or print and mail your return.

To ensure there are no errors with the form, I completed a mock Colorado return. I was successful in being able to use the annualized installment method for computing a penalty and noted that Form DR 0204 calculated correctly. Additionally, it is listed under the official forms required for filing print view, as well in the tax return print view.
