Does anyone know why turbo tax is saying I need to fill out my employer state tax ID when my state dosent have an income tax meaning I don’t have an ID number?

I need help to continue. It’s asking for an employers state ID number which doesn’t exist in my state.

Several  states do not have a state income tax.  So these states will not show up in certain drop down lists.   Leave boxes 15, 16, and 17 blank when you enter a W-2 for these states.

Alaska, Florida, Nevada, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Washington and Wyoming
