Does anybody happen to know if a non resident alien can use capital loss carryover from previous year?

I filed my taxes as a resident last year and I had huge losses in stocks. I have capital loss carryover left. I'm filing my taxes as a non resident alien this year and I want to use capital loss from previous year. Can I do that. I know I have to file it with Sprintax. They couldn't answer my question.

We don't support 1040NR in this forum.

It seems if you had a capital loss carryover from US source income the prior year, you would be able to claim it against US income in the current year.

Here's Instructions for Form 1040-NR to help you.
