Do I need to claim my salary as WI or MN? I live in MN, but I am a truck driver who works for an employer in WI. Employer withheld MN tax and showed as MN wages.

I am wondering if my employer should have withheld WI taxes and showed them as WI wages.  As a truck driver, I wasn't sure if there were different rules, and withholdings are based on the state you live in ?

You claim for Minnesota only.  As a truck driver, yes, there are different rules for those subject to DOT limitations.  Although you may travel throughout the entire country, you are only taxed in the state you live:  Minnesota, provided you are maintaining a home in Minnesota.  Where your company is based is irrelevant, you are not taxed in Wisconsin.
