Deducting COBRA premiums from former employer.

I was with a former employer until October of 2021, and I enrolled in their COBRA program after leaving that company. In 2022, I paid $12757.71 in COBRA premiums. I live in Alabama and will be filing an Alabama return using TurboTax Deluxe (desktop-based, not online-based) to prepare all the forms for this Alabama state return. Can I include this 12K amount as a medical expense when I am entering all my deductions in the TurboTax software?

Yes, COBRA premiums are deductible as a medical expense if you itemize your deductions. You enter them in the federal return with your other medical expenses and they flow to the state return as well.
